The best and most beautiful things in this world

cannot be seen or heard, but must be felt with the heart.

Firstly, thank you for considering Run Away Together to document your elopement! I’d like to congratulate you for choosing to elope, as I know it’s not always an easy decision. But trust me, I think it’s an amazing way to get married! It’s all about you and your love, doing things exactly the way you envision it.

– The Process –

Securing your photographer is a great first step, since I can help you plan and recommend other vendors in the area. I suggest booking a free discovery call, but if you prefer email we can communicate that way as well.

Decide on a date and a package that works best for you. 50% of the package price is due at the time of booking, and then I can officially hold your date! The remaining balance is due on or before your wedding date.

Continue planning out your elopement day details, such as the exact location, where to stay, and what you might want to do for the remainder of the day. I am more than happy to make recommendations, do research, and scout picture-perfect locations.

Confirm how to obtain marriage licenses (often an officiant knows the drill on that!), book tickets and make reservations.

– Books & Albums –

Ordering a book or album to commemorate your elopement is something I can’t recommend enough! Photographs are experienced in a completely different way when held in your hands compared to seeing them solely on a screen. Not only that, but these keepsakes are top of the line products available only through a professional photographer. It seriously blows any Shutterfly book out of the water!

You can also create albums and books for family members who may have not been present at your wedding.

I offer two different options. The first is a bespoke wedding book by Isle Studio.

The second type of album is a more traditional style, with thick pages and a variety of cover materials and styles. Album rates begin at $1279.

"They look great! Beyond great! They're incredible. We can't stop obsessing over how good they are, and our family that's seen them is equally in love with them. A number of them have said they're the best wedding photos they've ever seen. You freaking ROCK."

The colors look beautiful and you captured everyone's happy faces, which is just what we wanted."

"I’ve gotten sooooo many compliments and accolades from people about the photographs - and remember that all my friends are architects, all of Cici’s are fashion designers and executives, so it is high praise from an aesthetically discerning collection of critics!!

Thanks again for the lovely visuals, and on a personal note, it was such a pleasure to work with you and we were so honored to have you there to share our big day!!"

Hi There, I’m Katie!

Though I call Southern California home, I've travelled from San Francisco to Tuscany to Bali to document intimate wedding celebrations. When I visit new places with my mom, she calls me her travel agent. Probably because I'm obsessed with creating beautiful experiences for people to enjoy. I love researching locations, accommodations, and places to dine. Since I prioritize attention to detail, I only take on about 10 elopements a year. This way, each of my couples receives the attention and creative energy they deserve. I genuinely look forward to creating a unique experience just for you!

Even if you don't have a set plan, I would love to hear your dreams about eloping! Book a free discovery call so we can get to know each other and I can help you plan a perfect elopement.

Wondering how many hours of photography coverage you'll need for your elopement?

On my elopement podcast, fellow photographer Anna Tee and I discuss what it means to have a full day elopement. We cover how many hours to hire a photographer for and the advantages of documenting the entire day, instead of just the ceremony.

Treat your elopement like a full day wedding! Just because it's a smaller gathering doesn't mean that all the activities shouldn't be documented. Choose from the two options below, or inquire about a custom package.

That's enough time for:
getting ready & detail photos, first look, ceremony, and portraits before sunset

That's enough time for:
a morning coffee hangout, getting ready & detail photos, first look, ceremony, portraits before sunset, nighttime festivities

Happy to build custom packages based on your needs and budget. We can also add on a la carte items like albums or bespoke books.
